Feds' Perfect Record

Christie never lost a public corruption case while serving as U.S. Attorney. It's obvious the office of the U.A. Attorney is well run and their cases rock solid. I would imagine this holds true today under Acting U.S. Attorney Ralph Marra. I'm sure that fact isn't lost on anyone.

During today's press conference, Mr. Marra mentioned "Union County" when naming areas where individuals were arrested. Reading over the list of arrests, there were no individuals from Union County on that list. Perhaps the slip of the tongue was because Union County could quite possibly be on the minds of the Feds or it could have meant nothing. It was mentioned that the investigation is on-going.

NJ residents need hope and perhaps today is a sign that better days are on its way. No matter what the Governor has to say today, Corzine doesn't represent hope or change and nor do his colleagues. I can't imagine President Obama coming back here either. Time to wave the white flag.

You would think the Govenor would have his own press conference today ... guess he too knows it'd be meaningless.

I couldn't agree more Anon 12:41. If Senators Menendez & Lautenberg had a shred of decency, they would contact the President and request the withdrawal of the nomination of Paul Fishman for U.S. Attorney and submit Marra's name. Their failure to do so would make them aiders, abettors, look-the-otherwayers or worse IMO
